Globalization of reproductive and genetic technologies has gone hand in hand with development of the global consumer.  My comments aim to provoke discussion of the formation and practices of the new global consumer.  Discussion will consider the role of entrepreneurialism, the creation of communities based on relationship to reproductive and genetic technology use, and the conflation between the role of purveyor and consumer.  And so on.
