As a Research Analyst at AAVS, Nina has been responsible for assessing the animal welfare and ethical implications associated with biotechnology issues such as cloning, genetic engineering, synthetic biology, and "life patents" from both a science and policy perspective.

Nina holds an M.S. in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University, and dual degrees in Biology and Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT.
