Eran DeSilva is a teacher at Notre Dame High School in San Jose. She has been working with Milton Reynolds the past two years, building a curriculum around eugenics and race in America for her senior course called Contemporary Social Issues. The Tarrytown Meetings will connect well with the topics explored in the social issues course, helping Eran to build interdisciplinary curriculum that examines ethical considerations and policy making surrounding genetic technology for her school's Science, Social Studies and Religious Studies departments. She received her B.A. in International Relations/Art Studio from the University of California, Davis and her M.A. in Teaching from the Unversity of San Francisco.
