What Role for Government Presentation

I plan to give a brief description of the Donor Sibling Registry, talk about how we started, why we exist, and how we connect, support and educate donor families, the public and the infertility industry. Then I will talk about what we have learned from our 27,750 sperm and egg donors, parents and donor conceived people over the past 10 years. Once we have laid out the concerns and issues that many donor families face along with the current (lack of) regulation of the infertility industry (American Society of Reproductive Medicine), we can then talk about the recommendations that we have for moving this industry forward in a more responsible and accountable manner. Although I am very clear on many of the problems, I am not as clear on how to successfully integrate industry/legislative regulations into the successful resolution of these issues!
